Biography

Alexis Sanchez

Founder, President and CEO

Divorce Mortgage Planning LLC

Alexis Sanchez is a Divorce Mortgage Planner and the Founder, President and CEO of Divorce Mortgage Planning LLC, an independent Divorce Mortgage Planning advisory firm.

He holds the Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP), Real Estate Mediation Specialist (REM-S), and Certified Liability Advisor (CLA) designations. He is also a CashMap Consultant and Timing of Money Advisor.

Alexis completed the Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program through The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Aresty Institute of Executive Education, in May 2025. This educational accomplishment supports his commitment to building and leading a disciplined, specialized, and client focused advisory firm.

Since 1999, Alexis has worked in residential mortgage lending. Today, his professional practice is focused on helping divorcing individuals and their professional teams understand the financial consequences of decisions involving the marital home and mortgage before a divorce settlement is finalized.

His advisory work includes marital home retention and sale analysis, loan assumption analysis, equity buyout planning, mortgage qualification, income analysis, credit and liability review, title and vesting review, housing tax considerations, cash flow analysis, and the financial review of proposed divorce settlement terms.

Divorce Mortgage Planning is not simply about determining whether someone can qualify for a mortgage. Alexis evaluates whether keeping, selling, refinancing, or assuming the mortgage is financially achievable and sustainable. His analysis considers equity, mortgage liability, credit exposure, qualifying income, housing expenses, cash flow, affordability, and the client’s long term financial position.

Alexis works directly with divorcing individuals and alongside attorneys, mediators, and financial professionals. His role is not to tell a client to keep or sell the marital home.

His role is to provide independent analysis, identify financial risks, and help determine the strongest supportable strategy for the client’s circumstances.

His commitment to this work is also informed by his personal experience navigating divorce. He understands that decisions involving the marital home are both emotional and financial. His approach combines compassion with objective analysis so clients can make informed decisions based on facts rather than fear or short term pressure.

Through Divorce Mortgage Planning LLC, Alexis remains committed to one mission:

Safeguarding Your Finances During and After Divorce.

Divorce Mortgage Planner, Certified Liability Advisor, Real Estate Mediation Specialist, Divorce Lending Professional
